A double wooden shelter for horses and outdoor animals with black roof tiles
Shelters
Horses can stay outside all year round, provided you take care of sufficient shelter. An open shelter enables the animals to enjoy the freedom of the pasture and seek shelter from sun, rain, wind or extreme cold on their own.

Freedom over comfort
Many horses feel at ease in the pasture all year round. They prefer the freedom of a pasture over the comfort of an enclosed stable. The mild winters and moderate summers in Belgium allow horses to remain on a pasture for a prolonged period of time if sufficient shelter is present. Moreover, it is a legal requirement to provide sufficient shelter for horses that permanently live on a pasture.
Did you know that our four-legged friends can stand cold and rain quite well? Your animals mainly require shelter when it is very hot. Trees can provide shelter from the sun but are often not enough. An open shelter is an obvious choice: this will allow animals to decide for themselves whether they want to take shelter. Make sure you place the shelter in the proper direction so that it provides the best protection against the hot afternoon sun, rain and wind.

Beautiful authentic look
In 2017, De Sutter Naturally developed unique, wooden shelters at the request of our customers. The stable can be perfectly combined with our horse fences and rural pasture gates, and completes the high-quality, rural appearance of your horse pasture.
Our shelters are made of top quality spruce. The grey impregnation creates a natural look, blending the stable into its surroundings. In addition, this intensive finish ensures that the wood will last for many years. Our stables do not require any maintenance and come with a 20-year anti-rot guarantee.
The roof is finished with metal roof panels or roof tiles. It can be insulated and equipped with a roof gutter. In short: our robust, elegant shelters protect your horse in the best possible way and look very stylish.

Are you looking for a wooden shelter that combines elegance and sturdiness?
