All-round guarantee: origin, process & final product

Densiforce is a protected brand with which we consolidate the quality and sustainability of our production process. Each De Sutter product in impregnated softwood will bear this quality label. The entire process from origin to final product is protected and documented. And that is where we make the difference across the board:

Origin

Our wood grows slowly, but is therefore much firmer and less likely to warp.

Zaagproces: we zagen uit dikke stammen, waardoor we onze palen beter kunnen impregneren

Sawing process

We saw from thick logs, which allows us to impregnate the posts better.

Droogproces: gebeurt heel gecontroleerd, ook voor ronde palen, we brengen geleidelijk aan vocht aan zodat de barsten erin zitten voordat we gaan indrogen

Drying process

Is very controlled, also for round posts, we apply moisture gradually so that the cracks form before the drying process.

Impregnatie tot saturatie: we halen eerst het vocht eruit om dan te impregneren, het kleurpigment kan veel dieper, voor een homogener en langduriger resultaat

Impregnation to saturation

We first extract the moisture and then impregnate, the colour pigment can go much deeper, for a more homogeneous and long-lasting result.

Ecological alternative to creosote fences

In addition to the Densiforce quality guarantee in the production process, Densiforce brown is also the ecological alternative for creosote applications. Because: as an innovative player, where sustainability and ecology are core values, we have decided to stop selling creosote fencing altogether.
Why is that? Creosote products have been used for a very long time for train sleepers, garden timber and fences, mainly because of their effective protection against wood rot. However, they also have disadvantages such as a penetrating smell and irritation on contact with bare skin. Moreover, their use is increasingly restricted by the new European environmental standards. At De Sutter Naturally we no longer use creosote-treated wood for horse fences, making us a pioneer on the European market. 

The circle is complete: origin, process and end product are 100% sustainable and of high quality. The Densiforce label on your De Sutter fence and other wood solutions - along with a certificate that you receive from us - is conclusive proof.
