As of January 2025, De Sutter Naturally welcomes Filip Staelens as our new CEO. Filip succeeds Alexander Van Parijs, who has been at the helm since 2021 and played a crucial role in our company for more than a decade. With his broad experience in sales and operations, Alexander laid the foundations for the strong growth we know today. Filip is now building on this solid foundation.
A time to reinvent, dare and build
Filip comes on board with an impressive track record and a vision that perfectly aligns with our core values: quality, sustainability, service, innovation and style. After 15 exciting years at Orbit, where he worked on high-performance lighting systems, Filip decided to take on a new challenge. His experience in strategic growth, product development and team management makes him the ideal person to take De Sutter Naturally to the next level.
In his own words, “The chapter at Orbit is closed, but even more exciting adventures await. I am returning to my roots: developing and producing premium products, this time in the beautiful setting of the countryside. It feels like coming home to De Sutter Naturally, a company that not only manufactures and installs, but sets the standard in wooden gates, fences and shelters.”
An inspiring start
Filip is excited about the future and has already gotten off to a flying start. “In the meantime I have had the opportunity to meet almost every De Sutter employee personally. I am impressed by the drive, expertise and team spirit present everywhere. I look forward to putting a patch on it together.”
His first few weeks were all about getting acquainted, listening and planning. From his new office in our Experience Center in Kampenhout, he looks out over an inspiring landscape that perfectly fits our mission: to develop premium products with an eye for quality and sustainability.
