Posts placed firmly in the ground
A primary important reason for choosing professional installation is the way in which the poles are put into the ground. De Sutter Naturally uses special machines to vibrate the posts into the ground, without digging a hole or using stabilised sand. The posts are firmly set in. No waiting for stabilised sand to dry out, meaning the wire mesh can be put up immediately and tensioned.
When we work with wire mesh, we always opt for taller posts set deeper into the ground. The posts are, thus, better able to withstand the strong pulling forces associated with wire mesh.
Tightening wire mesh
Tightening wire mesh requires a lot of skill and expertise. This must be done along a wide stretch in one go. You cannot just tighten post by post. When securing wire mesh to the top of the posts, there must be enough clearance so that the wire mesh can comfortably expand and contract in cold and warm temperatures outdoors. Wire mesh must therefore never be tightly secured to the posts. This would prevent the necessary expansion and contraction.
Elasticity of the wire mesh is therefore also of great importance, which is absolutely guaranteed with the Tornado brand.

The difference between professional installation and doing it yourself will become more and more apparent over the years. While professionally installed wire mesh stays very firm and does not sag, the opposite would soon be the case with poor installation. In which case, you run the risk more and more of your animals getting their legs entangled in the wire and harming themselves.
