Just as Rome was not built in 1 day, David Martain and his wife Inge Van de Steene hammered away at the expansion of Marvaco year after year. The company produces 31,000 fattening pigs a year at four locations, makes 10,000 tonnes of fodder for its own pigs, processes 40 million litres of slurry a year and there are 15,000 poultry.
